The peace embassy program is an initiative for community peacebuilding in FIZI district that lead to a greater understanding of the importance and place of conflict in the community and the community become engaged in conflict resolution and disseminate information on peace , and in time no longer supports the idea of war as the only solution for those in opposition. The program is initiated by FEDA ( Femmes et education des adultes) and supported by the FELLOWSHIP OF RECONCILIATION-UK , 2015 AWARD .

Leadership training for peace
On 21 September 2015 at the occasion international peace day, an intensive training have been organised for 6 Days at Kazimia centre.
TThe training involved 142 participants from different couches naely local leaders, represntatives of civil society organisations, woen, youth ( both female and male) and customs leaders.
Particpants were selected from Kazimia centre and neighboring 8 villages.Eperienced persons in peace building have animated the training namely Madam Lamartine Byahenga ( The Executive secretary of FEDA) and Mr Ekombe Athumani( The project officer of FEDA)
Among several topics include
- Leadership skills,- introduction to conflict,the role of conflict in community transformation, positive conflict management practical modes of resolution, non-violent communication and any others. All participants have been granted a certificate of attendace at the end of the training.
The District leader of FIZI territory have been invited as a guest of honner at the opening ceremony of the training.
Youth peacebuilders network
Participants to the training have been facilitated to create networks in their respectives villages. The need is to lead their peersand counities in exploring the fundamental ideas view and actions which characterize civilization of peace.
8 Networks have been created in villages on the period fro October and November by participating trainees. Networks starteddeliver education on peace through wide community meetings and are prepared to establish chambers for peace involving local leaders as a permanent structure intended to resolve diverse conflicts and disputes in their communities and continuing to deliver peace building education.
Chambers for peace
This activity as a permanent structures for conflict resolution to be established in different villages where youth have been trained as peacebuilders is not yet taking place. It will start by February 2016.

• Young people and other project beneficiary allowed to acquire knowledge on various attitudes to violence prevention and the creation of a culture of peace and leadership .
• Establishment of a permanent dialogue on violence prevention and peace building among youth in their respective communities.
• Position the youth and other beneficiaries of the project to the front line in education for peace, conflict transformation, and prevention of violence and the creation of a culture of peace
• Reduce the impact of remarkably violence and brutality
• Establishing a culture of sustainable peace and integrate the culture of non-violent communication as an indispensable tool for peace.
