Education, A tool for transformation

<<Enhancing womens self-esteem, ability to read instructions and civic documents, and so expanding their knowledge for better lives>>

<<Literacy provides illiterate adult women, who have been denied access to formal schooling, with a great opportunity for reading, writing, increasing awareness levels and skills training and actively promotes gender equity to empower them to decision making about themselves, their families and their communities>>

<<Literacy help women to occupy an important place in resolving household and community conflicts and prepare them to disseminate information for creating awareness about violence  and stereotypes in either domestic and collectivity scopes>>

<<The percentage of female literacy is poor due to the different societal factors including gender based inequality, Social discrimination and economic exploitation, occupation of girl child in domestic chores, Low enrolment of girls in schools and low retention rate and high dropout rate, violence and impact of war.>>

<<Literacy provides people with the option of becoming members of a self-confident and informed populace that can understand issues, represent themselves, take responsibility for self-improvement and and better participate in civic affairs.>>

<<Literacy opens several opportunities for neo-literate women to step out of the households and involve themselves in some enterprises or a new vocation. It helps reducing gender gap in literacy and served to enhance knowledge and skills for better management of expenditures and improving earning capacities>>
